LEED has a pilot credit for using LCA in design, and the Athena Institute is offering free assistance to a limited number of design teams who pursue that credit using the Impact Estimator.

LEED MRpc63 is for whole-building life cycle assessment. Design teams can earn that credit by using the Athena Impact Estimator software to perform life cycle assessment for a reference building and then a final design. Read about the credit here. For qualifying teams, we will provide help by phone or e-mail, and we will review your work. In return, we will ask you for feedback.
