AMERICAN IRON AND STEEL INSTITUTE AISI serves as the voice of the North American steel industry in the public policy arena and advances the case for steel in the marketplace as the preferred material of choice. AISI also plays a lead role in the development and application of new steels and steelmaking technology. AISI is comprised of 31 member companies, including integrated and electric furnace steelmakers, and 130 associate and affiliate members who are suppliers to or customers of the steel industry. AISI’s member companies represent approximately 75 percent of both U.S. and North American steel capacity. |

CEMENT ASSOCIATION OF CANADA The Cement Association of Canada is the voice of the Canadian cement industry. Representing 100% of cement producers in Canada, our mission is to foster the effective use of concrete and other cement-based products through partnerships in marketing, public affairs, engineering and technical support. Through these efforts we seek to increase awareness of cement and concrete's contribution to vibrant communities, a healthy environment and a competitive economy. |

CORRIM The Consortium for Research on Renewable Industrial Materials (CORRIM) has been organized to update and expand a 1976 report by the National Academy of Science regarding the impacts of producing and using renewable materials. The original report focused specifically on the energy impacts associated with using various renewable materials. The new CORRIM reports aim to provide a database of information for quantifying the environmental impacts and economic costs of wood building materials through the stages of planting, growing, manufacturing, construction, operational use, and demolition. |

FPINNOVATIONS - FORINTEK DIVISION Forintek is Canada's national wood products research institute, with a history dating back to 1913. Forintek supports the forest products industry in optimizing manufacturing processes, extracting higher value products from the forest resource, and meeting end-user expectations of performance, durability and affordability. Forintek also performs proprietary research projects on a contract basis. |

NORTH AMERICAN INSULATION MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION NAIMA is the association for North American manufacturers of fiber glass, rock wool, and slag wool insulation products. Its role is to promote energy efficiency and environmental preservation through the use of fiber glass, rock wool, and slag wool insulation, and to encourage the safe production and use of these materials. |

PORTLAND CEMENT ASSOCIATION The Portland Cement Association (PCA) was founded in 1916 to "improve and expand the uses of portland cement and concrete," and today represents more than 47 cement companies across the United States and Canada. Portland cement is a core element in most concretes used in construction around the world today. The Association carries out a range of activities, including marketing, educational programs, research, and advocacy, that aims to raise the quality of the product, the manufacturing process, and generally contribute to a better environment. |

THE VINYL INSTITUTE The Vinyl Institute (VI) is the trade association representing US manufacturers of vinyl (PVC) resin. VI supports the use of life cycle assessment for informing environmental decisions. |
