Dr. Lindita Bushi receives the ISO Excellence Award

The Athena Institute is a strong believer in standards as the foundation for quality and consistency in LCA and EPD practice. Dr. Lindita Bushi, the Athena Institute’s principal LCA expert, has been a dedicated participant in international and Canadian standards development for years.

Dr. Bushi (third from right in the photo) received the ISO Excellence Award in November 2025, in recognition of her outstanding work to advance environmental standards worldwide.

Specifically, Dr. Bushi is being recognized for her leadership as the Convenor of ISO TC 207/SC3 Working Group 12 during the revision of ISO 14025. This is the fundamental international standard for EPDs; the update is expected to be published in early 2026.

The Athena Institute congratulates Dr. Bushi for this well-deserved honour!
