Whole-building LCA on-line credentialing program open for Fall 2026 registration
This ground-breaking and highly successful program was developed by the Athena Institute in partnership with the BC Institute of Technology.
Participants complete four on-line courses to earn accreditation as whole-building LCA professionals.
These professionals are well-prepared to fill a skills gap, as embodied carbon becomes more prevalent in green building programs and policies across North America.
Course assignments use Athena free software tools, however the program is applicable for users of any whole-building LCA software who want to gain a thorough understanding of LCA standards, data, method, results interpretation, and reporting.
Because this is remote learning, the program is accessible from any geographic location (although fees are higher for non-Canadians).
The first two courses will run this fall (starting September 9) and the second two will start in January.
